thats y i got the combo its only a 1.3 diesel but if im doin motorway runs i can get between 70-80 to a gallon an its happy enough at 80mph aswell

fancy a berlingo but thought maybe to small,on other hand like your combo your talkin 50-60 to the gallon+allways stick a big f... off roof rack on top.

unless your always transporting loads of materials i dont see the point in a bigger van i can get 2 barrels and all my tools in the combo easy and if im ever doin a big private job i just get the materials dropped off by the supplier

I guess if you do mostly site work you can get away with the smaller van cos all sheet materials will be supplied. I however do mainly domestic and my transit is a godsend when I need 20 sheets of plasterboard - people will argue that they can go on a roofrack but IMO its dead handy to shove them in the back and not have to worry if its raining

i used my van(03 trafic) to get all my kit 2 my jobs but i am there longer than a week i will take a cool drive up in my 04 2.2 Sri vectra :-) good times

Whats those combos like napper ? just looking on autotrader some good ex postie ones to be had for not much money.

personally i think they are spot on decent milage out of a tank more than enough space for what i do like i said u can get 2 barrels in them an all your hand tools easy enough mines an ex posite hod no problems with it so far

ive had 40 bags of finish in tha back aswell with no problem

40 bags no problem my ass

Ive got the new t5 vw transporter and with a pallet of multi in it it drives like a canoe, 40 bags of multi in that and it'll fold in half.

its how u load it, im not sayin it handles like a 911 round the nurburgring but it pulls fine and goes round corners, u wanna get the suspension looked at on ur canoe ;D
