    You can't stick it with plasterboard adhesive as it won't stick. You could level it with dab then screw through each dab with screw and washer but that's alot of time and effort to save a small amount of money. The customers paying so what does it matter

    Its very quick for a full house and not labour intensive. Couple of days to prep it all tape up windows, tape and bead, then a few days to spray it all. It'll never catch on though, expensive machine, and only good for empty houses

    We said self employed not a company owner. Self employed overheads are virtually nothing. Van and van insurance just the same as anyone needing a car and car insurance to get to work.     Nursery fees being a business overhead is abit of a push. Spudknit is right overheads for self employed is not much different from anyone else other than 100 public liability what's different?

    Has anyone not had a product fail though. I've had a fail with green Grit to but also had fails with Pva. Every product is always going to go wrong now and then

    Your cleaner charges you £17 but they don't earn £17 an hour a self employed plasterer has very little overheads earning 1k a week he'll be around for a while yet

    To board and skim that is a days work for a plasterer. You're probably going to pay almost the same labour to get it plastered as you would to get them to board and plaster it

    It will to a degree, and will even them out. Old ceilings joists usually 400mm apart maximum so will pull it up
