Ok then how many coats of alpine and what thickness?

I know what you’re saying I’ve been a spread for 18 year im fine with traditional methods I’ve just never seen this finish,it’s not a big area if it’s specialist work I won’t bother! If it’s not I’ll give it go don’t mind trying new systems !

Cheers for the info pal it’s going on to block work which is good (flat no snots) do you know the process 1 coat 2 coat thickness? I’ve never used it!

I work for 5 4 are spot on organised good blokes and payers the other 1 is the most unorganised f**k**g tit but he he pays straight away the minute he doesn't he's getting f**k*d off! Ruff with the smooth I guess!

I use squares and levels as well m8 I just find with a laser it's quicker and impossible to get wrong if a board gets knocked or lent on you can see it straight away as you said each to there own!

I use on day rate and price work I do a lot for 2 high end kitchen company's everything has to be bang on square and plumb nothing can be on the piss they pay well because it's spot on!

Not a faff at all 10mins setting room up takes guess work out of it bang on every time kitchen fitters don't have a nightmare on my work!

The hilti one puts a horizontal line and vertical measure off both sids of the wall put the laser through the marks go over the laser line with chalk line so easy!

I've had a hilti one for a couple of month with green laser line much easier to see in bright areas compared to the red one I had!cracking laser &230

Never spoke to you pal but do yourself a favour and pack plastering in go work in Asda for £10 an hour it's obviously doing ya head in!
