I know what you’re saying I’ve been a spread for 18 year im fine with traditional methods I’ve just never seen this finish,it’s not a big area if it’s specialist work I won’t bother! If it’s not I’ll give it go don’t mind trying new systems !
I work for 5 4 are spot on organised good blokes and payers the other 1 is the most unorganised f**k**g tit but he he pays straight away the minute he doesn't he's getting f**k*d off! Ruff with the smooth I guess!
I use squares and levels as well m8 I just find with a laser it's quicker and impossible to get wrong if a board gets knocked or lent on you can see it straight away as you said each to there own!
I use on day rate and price work I do a lot for 2 high end kitchen company's everything has to be bang on square and plumb nothing can be on the piss they pay well because it's spot on!
The hilti one puts a horizontal line and vertical measure off both sids of the wall put the laser through the marks go over the laser line with chalk line so easy!
Was hoping to get out on the tyne for the salmon this weekend ! Ended up f**k**g boarding and dot and dabbing for a customer who's kitchens getting fitted Thursday t**t!
I had this the other week got 15 bags of multi for a job same date on bags 12 were fine the peeling affect happened with 3 even next day rubbed hand over the face came off dodgey s**t gear !!
If there's 2of you mix a couple of bags up one coat it on the other drop back and trowel then mix more for the one coating on then both trowel up wouldn't bother using extra time no need get ya prep right be done on 4hr
I scaffolded out a 80m2 lid with crates and battons last Thursday mixed up and put it on in a staggered gauge and finished it myself when like a dream got paid £700 for it! I was f**k*d had Friday off big areas on private work pays much better than site s**t!
