Hi m8, I will max out at 2 bags whit the same gear! the mix is usually on the turn at the end aswell so i end up rushing at the end, think i mix slightley thicker than most, not atall watery but not stiff as s**t lol.

He mixed it like piss which seemed to help with extra time. Got it on then quick flatten, mixed up for second...

You must have a tirck or two up your sleeve! I max out at two bags in one mix, i always use the same mix for seccond coat, but make up for it by doing 3 guages. The third one is usually a smaller one though, it its what it is ;)

Dont know how you approach it but i have been doing 3 guages for the past two years when on price and just accepting long days! I always use the same mix to lay down and is a heavy day. Was wondering if 2 bigger guages useing 2 mixs would be good for similar out put, and possibly quicker...

Yeah it does have its uses and removing tiger stripes is one of them. Bringing it back from the brink is another but thats a last resort! I have seen people one coat sponging on new builds recentley, they was putting full rooms on, sponging the s**t out of it and "finishing" with a plastic...
