Been doing more looking into this. If I'm understanding things right it's not enough just to do the health and safety test, you must also either have an on site assessment or complete an NVQ. I live in North Wales and the OSAT isn't offered locally and I do not want to do an NVQ.
It seems the...
Hello,
I've done a quick search on here but threads talking about CSCS cards didn't really answer my question.
Basically I want to get a CSCS card but don't want to do any qualifications. I've looked at the CSCS website and emailed them stating my situation i.e. no qualifications except for a...
So, seems that most think my idea is a waste of time, fair enough. I am certain it would however be useful. If anyone needs an extra pair of hands some time soon give me a shout. Would be much appreciated...

Had a brief look on here / internet and sounds like resilient bar and acoustic board is the way to go. Just a few questions:
- Is the board fixed / stable? Reason I ask is that the fixing instructions seem to apply that there might be some movement / flex, if so how can you skim properly?
- My...
Cheers all for replies, maybe its 'trowelitis' more than anything as suggested above. It definitely does drag/mark ever so slightly but I still like using it. Maybe worth getting a wet stone to see if this helps and another trowel to start wearing that in.
I assume when people say "bend the...
