I'm currently on my first year plastering apprenticeship, just wondering how long it would take to learn the trade to a standard where I can do the job on my own etc, im at the stage where skimming isnt a problem just not too good at the boarding lol any replies will be appreciated.

How long would it generally take to learn the job to a standard of doing it on your own etc, I'm an apprentice now and feels like I'm losing time on learning with hearing others learning it all in a year, any good honest feedback would be appreciated, cheers.
