I couldn't believe how well it would worked my self I had to get a different mixing piece because the tanking is slightly courser than multi and set a lower water level. We sprayed in meter sections one way then a quick going over in the other direction if your walls are all pointed up well and...
I would say it does around 10 2m we put a good coat on and found that we never needed to brush it as it sprayed and covers really well yes you can use it straight on block but you would need to damp the block work first as blocks suck in quite fast I reckon by spraying it we saved a weeks work
It's definitely easier having it mixed and pumped with no carrying involved for sure are walls easier we have practised in an old barn and had a lot less mess compared to a ceiling it's just hard after a day like today to try again especially if it happens again. If I was to use tomorrow we...
Thanks for your help I was spaying layed the ceiling up and my brother started to trowel it off and found it to wet to trowel and was leaving it a bit bubblie then machine jammed and we decided to mix by hand and put 2 nd coat on by hand it was our first time spraying multi I'm just wondering...
the float didnt seem to move but after about 3 bags the stuff got a bit wetter for some unknown reason so we adjusted the water slightly then it slowed up spraying and the water backed up to hopper. the water but was 3/4 full when the drops would this affect the flow or not
sprayed multi finish today and like the guys say it was very messy gets it on quick but it was very wet to trowel in then machine jammed up and had all the hastle of rushing trying to clean out pipes and machine whilst worrying about celling and then having to get another coat on then whilst...
I used multi on plasterboard about 60 2m the stuff was wet to trowel and then machine got jammed as we made the stuff a bit stiffer to make the troweling better we ended up top coating by hand celing turned out nice but what a mess I spoke to Andy at Pft and apparently I had the water to low but...
I sprayed a decent size celing today with m Tec 100 didn't go as smoothly as I hoped layed up the first coat ok is very messy as ppl said it would we ended up laying up top coat by hand as we had a build up in the pipes and it backed up. I take it multi had built up and couldn't get threw the...
I have only had the mTec for a week so I don't have much experience with machines. From what I have read I think the bigger machines suit renders.im sure someone on here can fill you in. I'm only using it to spay internal finish and tanking.
Vfr 12 when you try it let me know how u get on lol it...
I've recently just got a mTec 100 and we had a few teething problems spraying tanking but after a bit of practice and a different mixing piece we have got it running well we bought the powdered tanking slurry in buckets and worked well saves a hell of a lot of time brushing it on
i have seen a vid on youtube of someone spraying it on with a powerful machine almost like he was pressure washing it. was only thinking that if
a machine like the eze or the m100 could spray it then its a big bonus and would save a lot of time brushing
just wondering if anyone spays tanking i do a fair few barn conversions and brushing it on takes a long time thinking of getting a machine to spray finish and wondered if the same machine will spray tanking
