Yeah worked in an immaculate house once and the ol dear offered us a cuppa. It was the dirtiest mug you could come across. needless to say it got chucked out the top floor. cup as well.

I always go and look at a job if im interested. Tell them ill give them a quote that night or next day so i dont make any mistakes. Done a few on the job quotes and it hurts when you get it wrong. Written quote when needed.

Good to hear everyone has nightmare story to tell. Had one where i went to help a builder with last minute floor screed. Did it with a mixer on my own. about 4 tonne of sand. Lashed it down all day so would have appreciated a cuppa. But the owners watched me through the conservatory doors all...
