    Behind the membrane is a mess and it can't be fixed tight to anything. I made a few phone calls and what I did is what other plasterers are doing now to get out of this situation.

    I'm actually going to put a thicker track and instead of normal plasterboard, I'll put 25mm insulated plasterboard. I had the condensing in mind too.

    Cousin of mine plastered this wall for me and looked stained before the paint went on. Few days after painted the same spot is stained on the paint. Like a whitish stain coming through on the planter wall. Wrecking my head it is. The wall was fully tanked inside .

    Been so busy still haven't had a chance to do this . Suppose I need to get finger out as it's winter kicking in rightly. Going take few blocks out, build back up correctly then scratch, float it. Can't see me getting away with dubbing it out. It'll eventually blow I'd say.

    Small question I should already know the answer off but haven't tanked an exterior wall before so thought I'd ask anyway.. Have to tank inside this planter box wall..it's getting filled with stone then some top soil and a few plants. It'll be getting plastered on the outside with white cement...

    Some rough c**t. Left a right mess he did! Yeah toothing in with blocks or bricks is the best option I can think off. Scratch then float a d put reveal on. If you think this is bad, the lintel head is 2 inch's of level. There'll be some dicking about dubbing out for the head reveal.
