a final hard trowel should sort it though i see it alot when plasterers jump on it 2 early give it a hard cross trowel and see if that helps out mate

The right way is pva interior, and eva is an external pva that or like you say sbr but eva is an external pva if that makes sense they both have there place i am not being funny just saying like :RpS_thumbup:

I think there is a lot of false advertisement and prob not alot of difference between multi and uni finish perhaps you still need to use pva or thistle bondit. i reckon he will fob you off with how it is'nt really ment for that sort of reskim and you should be using thistle bondit or some thing...

Why would you use a gypsum plaster to stick up external beads just do it properly and dab em in with your scratch ! or if you have to use something like sticks like **** but make sure it is suitable for external fixing !!

That sound about right to me mate ! a good thing to do though would be to check the date on the side of the bag that and how long have you had it an how did you store it ?!
