steve 1976 yes mate you can use a steel trowel to finnish but a bit different,next time you got a bit of s&c up try this but be warned if the works not straight itll look s**t,scratch ,float and fine down as per,sponge if you like,let it tighten up some more,then get your perma shape out prolly...

its all a matter of opinion o,there are top spreads about and to them a bit of filler or a bit of caulk is an insult,i aint the best plasterer in the world,but i aint the worst cant see any probs with a bit of touching up especialy if you do it before your pulled,but then again i am the greatest...
