I served my time with a 1 coat plaster his finish was s**t hot. Now am on my own I second coat my work just cuz it feels right.

Half 7-8. Away for 4, shower then gym.

As malc says,Has to be thick too really hide the blue grit plus the staircase am doing is in a old farm house so the walls are very uneven. Sponge is good where the skim is deep in places and straightens the wall out.

Ive been sponging all week cuz plastering on to blue grit. Only time I use it.

Speedskim then mt till end.

There's a guy on YouTube under a name off RWF 0067. He sponges all the time. Check him out lads.

Same here bud. Both multi and board finish is crap. Sumtimes you get few good bags. Am not enjoying skimming at the moment :( but looks fine when painted that's all that matters

Is eBay selling the new 1s? Or they the old 1s.

I've scored the wall with a Stanley knife then 2 coats off pva then skim
