i have been asked to price a job which is scotrend over old painted roughcast.can i just SBR over the painted cast or does it need to be meshed and coated first. all answers are welcome.

marshaltown is the best imo been using them for years

ave just bought one from toolbay.com evolution mixer 240 volt, 80 odd quid plus vat does the job

i have just done a job where we used a dampproof membrane that you can dot dab on top of.yo u could use this on the hillside walls.try oldroyd plaster membrane kit about £115 but well worth it.

cheers for the info guys loads of useful ideas but i think i will need to try(nisus idea) because the room has been finished and ready for the festives.will need to tackle this in the new year.
