Used to hate them but love them now ...depends how I catch it sometimes the water from cleaning the edge is enough but if not just a little brush where I'm going to trowel. It's leaving a nice flawless uniform pink finish when dry for me . Living the dream:-)

I've just mastered the flex no tigers ,no bumps .i used the trowel before but had problems but this time I think from past use it wore in abit and I used no water at all well about a tea spoons worth to clean the edges and I jumped on it soaking wet after speed skim and let it go hard and trowel...

I used mine from new just cut the corners a tiny bit and just put it over the skim when it was wet

yeh probably easier just to use the liquids . Is that wickes good ? So if you left a scratch for a couple of weeks in the winter you wouldn't dampen it down a tad so you have time to get the panel on ..sometimes I've just went on it dry and it sucks in when I'm still laying up friggin nightmare

Used one for first time today .Brilliant ! Always used the grey one thought it was good but the blue is way better and rules render up nice and flat found the grey ones would bend with the wall a bit but yeh blue speed skim living the dream :RpS_cool:

Im a bit like that sometimes il wet it and it goes off nice some il wet and it don't go off at all and sometimes I won't wet it after the scratch has cured for a week and it still doesn't go off .ive never really used additives like harderers but Ive been trying them out and there wikid I used...

When I was employed I got payed every Friday ...now I work for my self I get payed every few months but I pay subbys fortnightly ...Ive gotta finish jobs before I get payed but pay out in between for subbys
