Wise words told to me once..
Live to work, Don't work to live

I'm a great believer in "Work smarter not harder."

It's also worth bearing in mind that all the advances and great inventions throughout human history have been made by lazy people. An early example. "I'm fed up with dragging and carrying stuff. Hmm, how can I make it easier?" and so the wheel was invented.

Time off is so important.
I spent my 20s working all the hours I could. Scared to have time off.
Now I certainly don't kill myself working. Still have bills to pay etc. But just taken my foot off the gas a little.
My wife doesn't work Mondays, so I try to have the odd one off to, so we can go out for lunch etc. Time with the people that matter is so much more important than work. Easy to forget though, and I've been guilty of it....
Think the balance is all wrong in the UK. People think you're weird if don't work all the hours God sends....

Yep I agree,
The Germans have it right, they work the lowest hours in Europe, yet are the wealthiest per head as well as having the best economy.
