How much would you charge to fill a hole like on the video? I know we can't talk rate's but stuff it,how much?
 
Same. Do quite a few jobs where there's half a dozen spotlight holes to fill. Takes a leisurely hour or so. Tell the customer/decorater to sand it.

I can't understand how you would rather go and do hard work on site rather than do domestic sounds stupid tbh. I know it's boring but u need to think about your body. Am 33 and am f**k*d. I'd do domestic all the time but not enough of it in Ireland

I earn more on site pal..got 8 houses and 6 flats to do starting mid December..cant turn that sort of work down to rely on domestics..had sum1 ring me last week to price a kitchen i Said wen do u want it doing he said 2morrow I said no chance cant fit u in for 2 weeks he put phone down on me..there jokers

No mate seriously I'd do something good for people who need it,like organize refurbishment work for people who live in crap accommodation after leaving forces or set up or get involved in some kind of charity/ refurb thing that helps disabled or disadvantaged children ,anything that was doing some good.
Couldn't just sit on a beach and still not use skills would drive me potty doing nothing.

Lol because you wouldnt get it, no one pays £150 for patching hole, I know youre going to come back and say thats what you charge and you always get it but I don't believe it especially not as far north as Leeds, they'd laugh you out the door

Even if I cud do another job in day id still charge £150..end of day I c it as say uve got no gear..uve got multi,pva,board or bonding,scrim..it all adds up..uve got to to take it as uve got no gear etc as if u are using gear its still been bought

Lol I wudnt care If I dint get it tho tbh..Leeds is the new London..wat wud u charge?
 
You've got to remember lodan if someones calling your for a tiny patch its because they don't have the skills/tools/knowledge how to do it themselves. If you tell them you want £100+ to spend an hour or two of your time putting it right its their choice to accept the price. Its not exactly life changing money so alot of people would rightly rather pay someone that knows what they're doing to sort it.
