Ave had mine about a year , flexable blade . I think its stiffer than rifina and havnt tried nela . I have both i mentioned and use the mt for skimming

I decided a couple of months ago to take 1 trowel only to work a plain old boring 13" stainless trowel and gone back to simple basics...

and do you know what mate I have a clear head at work know when to time my work and know what finish I will produce every time over any substrate...

I now only touch my walls when I need to and my works better for it!!!

Yes mate. All this choice is in danger of spoling you and messing with your head at work. In danger of spending more time choosing a trowel or tool and wondering what order you COULD do things in than getting in a set routine and working quicker and more efficiently!

Forgot my point!

Bought a duraflex 14" about 18 months ago. Its nothing like the flexible trowels by nela and refina, much closer to a standard perma trowel. Still a nice trowel bringing up a nice finish but don't expect a s*p*r*lex!

It stays rigid for laying on and then you pull a little clip which makes it like a flex trowel!

I've been using the Swiss army trowel it's top secret and will blow the tits off anything else on the market. The Wand has got something to do with its special powers. If anyone else on here is in the COT I can PM you the deets ;-)
