Coving question

Customer has asked for a room to be coved (5 inch to match other rooms)..
One wall is curved and was wonderining on the best type to use..
She states that she doesnt want polystyrene coving.
Any ideas much appreciated.

How tight is the radius? You could run it in situ. Mike adams would be the man to advise you on that

sorry. polyurethane. with the paper backing and lightweight. sticks up with adhesive you can get from toolstation for a handful of beans. looks good if done right. i hate coving

able to bend round curved walls. i've used the b and q one on straight so not really sure. supercove i think. superbcove ..

ave used it a few times for a builder, its alreet to use, but the profile is smaller if your trying to piece into the gyproc 127

you can bend it by heating the back of it with a blow torch from a distance of two or three inches. it makes it pliable

127mm cove... try cutting partly through the back and it will bend , depends how tight the curve is mate...

Ok take a profile , and a template of the curve , then run a reverse mould ,
Take a cast and then fit

yeh, that would be the way, but think its just gyproc cove, it will bend nicely if the curve isnt that severe... a lot less work involved aswell...
