Got a price off Encon to ship 30 bags of parex from Bristol To Wakefield today and they wanted £250. :RpS_scared:
I know fuel is expensive but that's taking the piss.

Will they not palletize it and let you organize collection via a courier of your choice.
Im sure someone like dpd would sort it for you.

Why not a local Encon to Wakefield? I get in delivered free here in South Yorkshire.

Bristol would probably get the local Encon anyway if they had any sense.

Only place that had the colour in stock mate.

:RpS_scared:They must be using refinas curriers.
Thats horrendous though

My God those Curriers must have a shite hot agent, one minute they're totally unknown then BAM an internet sensation with Speedyskim and now a multi-pound transfer to Refina. This can only lead to higher postage costs to cover Steves diva like demands.

Would depend on how quick you wanted it my mate get's motor bikes shipped all over the country to him and visa versa for 50 to 60 quid but, the cost's start getting daft if you want it next day cos basically your order could be the only thing on the van one way or both so if that is the case, 1 days pay for driver + fuel + van or truck running costs and 250 starts to make sense from the courriers point of view.

what colour is it ?
have you tried lumbs down the road at Dewsbury, they carry quite a bit of stock.

Try getting your own company in to pick it up Like Hastings or palletline. SPS charge £80 for up to 5 pallets (Palletline) from Stoke and SAS is £70 under 1 Pallet from Exeter.
