I used to have a concept one. It was great. My gaffa was jealous so went to macro and got one lime that. £14 lol. He put a whacking great flymo lead on it. Brought it in. Tried it oncr and binned it lol

Lol, I remember seeing an auto feed attachment for cordless drills in Argos catalogue. :rolleyes)

A boarder on a big refurb we did a while back had one from Aldi about £30 i think and its was shizzel..............:RpS_thumbdn:

least now he can upgrade the trowhat with screws instead of gaffa tape......................:RpS_thumbup:

That happens if you press it down onto a wall say alittle bit and it clicks to the next screw , which u try to put in and the screw that u missed and is still in the strip and gets wedged into the mechanism ive been lucky once got it out by unscrewing it out its the only way i can see that happening

Still use a good cordless and a pouch full of screws ! Loads quicker in the end and you can retract them when the joists have run out lol .

Plasmaniac ad eat u alive at screwing up boards like if ur by hand and am using me autofeed soo sooo much faster than when i never had one had me off a number of iobs well ahead of time as id priced to board it at the old amount when i was using a normal drill , have me prices went down now ........

u must be mad

Maybe it's just me but I've never bought a screw gun. Always stuck with me cordless.
I always found that when doing skim work for builders their screwgun would put the screws too far in or not enough leading to the screw head plaster pop(not musical either)
I always assumed it was because the wood has different density that the torque settings could not alter too??? Just a guess.

Its a depth gauge thougb not torque jus drive the screw it till the machines hard up

That would make more sense. Then why is it whenever I do a job following some one thats used one the screws are never perfect.
some are okay but the majority are past the paper and IN the plasterboard or not in enough so the board can be pushed up by 2mm sometimes more.
Is it user error?????

Because they're to ******* stupid to adjust their screwgun properly.
