Was wondering after a previous thread about getting multi to set quicker using various dodgy methods why BG don't make 12 kg bags of multi and bonding with a setting time say half hour ideal for making good, would it be cost effective for them ,I for one would pay the same amount for a 12kg bag if I didn't have to wait 2 hours before I put the finish on. You heard it hear first

Was thinking a making good job on the way home in and out ,none of that sitting down and waiting ,just a thought.

just use warm water with dirty water and cement, if that doesnt go off in minutes i dnt know what will

where will they stock all these different types of multie, board, brownin and so on it would be pointless maybe if they sold something to make it set but there is cement so no point.

we always have a bucket, with multi left in the base, covered in dirty water , which we use when required.

Much better to have a proper product, it can be sold in specialist plastering shops, I think its a winner myself

I see the need for such a product but would you really buy it if it was say £5.50 a bag???

Dirty water is free.................:RpS_thumbsup:

well i m a cabby so obviously i know a lot about a lot, so heres what id do if i was a plasterer and wanted my skimming to set quicker
