Well lads it seems a lot of the domestic work has dried up ,so ive had to eat humble pie and go back on the sites ( inductions,hard hat ,hi viv vest and boots) what a load of pap,but money is money i suppose, hope things get better next year
 
Eastern Europeans have taken it and we just sit back and let it happen , most places we work these days were the only English
 
Unless there is a mass strike which will not happen were fecked what we need is a vote on the EU to stop eu workers taking the bread out of your mouths.
 
All you hear is those morons saying its good for the economy , b*ll***s is it , what about the British worker , not to mention the drain on all the other services and most of the money is sent back . Its total b*ll***s , we have been sold out by our own Government , thieving Wankers , the lot of them
 
They do not give a flying feck about british workers that is a thing of the past .
It now is british jobs for European workers.
 
i started the year well then it quietend right down to the point of nothing then i picked up a few weeks but everyone wants it done yesterday, pain in the arse.
i worked on a site last week and i was the only english speaking person out of about 30..............that was a fun day:rolleyes), trying to ask them to move all thier shite out the way so i could get to the walls amongst other things were soooo hard to do, slowed the pace right down
 
Not wanting to start an arguement because I wasn't around at the time so I'm not up to scratch with it. But what's the difference between them coming and all the english going to germany in the 80s? Were they still getting decent money or doing it on the cheap?
 
Oh right I wasn't sure if they went over due to no work and did it cheap or if they went out their for the decent money.

Goverment is in bed with big business, cheap eu labour = big profits. The average british joe pays for this in two ways, he or she has to take a cut in wages to compete and our taxes then have to pay for extra schooling, hospitals, policing, housing etc.
A small number of people do very well out of it i.e landlords who put a person in every room of a house for example, three bed house with four rooms £80.00 per week per person = £320.00 per week, £1280.00 per month.
There are some very good landlords out there but my experience when I have done repairs in these properties is
of very poor living conditions, smelly,dirty with damp and mould.
You can't blame the eu workers they are just trying to improve there lot.
 
There are some polish fellas renting a property opposite my house and i noticed earlier that the front has been graffitied with "**** off all polish guys" charming!
 
The Germany thing was quite different , there was a lot of work became available very quickly and the Germens could not cope with the amount that needed to be done so they brought in workers on decent money . the difference being the workers were in and out , where as in our case most of the migrants now coming are unskilled chancers / criminals looking to ponce off our wanky system , and why wouldnt they ? if you had **** all with no prospects and got the chance of a flat/house, some money , food vouchers , national health and a social worker to look after you . And there settling !

and as for the so called asylum seekers , dont get me ******* started
 
There seems to be one kind of maggot overlooked here, the British boss who only employs foreign labour, doing the s**t on his own kind.
 
Yep spot on pftmonojetnan big business do not give a feck who they employ . In down turns like this there is only the work for BRITISH workers out there.
But because were in the mad house called the EU which is corrupt to the core nothing we can do.
 
As Blade says these f**k**s over here now are milking it and have took over the whole system, when we whent to Germany in the 70s and 80s it was for a quick buck and most had no intentions of staying forever and didnt and i doupt the Krauts would have have let us any way and lets get one thing right more got stiched up than earnt a few quid.Ive seen a lot of immigration over the years and without a doubt the influx of EUs in recent years has been most detrimental to this country, where i live we are flooded with them with also Africans, what part of the Eec is Africa and Turks.
 
We had an African lad on site with a **** off great big afro he had to tie his hard hat on with string ha ha
 
He was a really nice bloke unfortunately his uncle who was rich was dying and wanted to depost mon.............
 
you need to move away from cheshunt lucius its shite hole pal move more down our way i know its not that much further but the closer to hertford you get the nicer it is, we was looking at places and i refuse to move any closer to cheshunt than i already am
 
You think Cheshunt is bad which it is have you been to W Cross lately the only English there are re***ds. I cant afford to live here no matter anywhere near Hertford.

Love to Paul but we dont we just let it happen and moane about i fcuking hate the Poles they have a massive attitude and dont give two fucks about us and they are now running the show, how the fcuk did that happpen in a few years.
 
Maybe they get a feeling when they meet you, that you fcuking hate them so they give you an attitude? Your only back in this country yourself coz the work dried up and they have as much right to work in spain as they do to work here the same as you and me. Its already been mentioned the problem is the blokes they are working for and we are workin for are taking advantage of everyone, not just poles so you have the same choice as them work for **** all on site or do something different. Im not having a dig at you its the same for everyone either work harder or smarter xxxxx
 
its good for the economy on the whole in a small percentage if they come to work in fish factories and pick veg on the farms yes but the twits who make the rules and come up with the figures have no idea how many are here and that 85% of EU who come are young males jumping into construction. they have killed off the industry and Blade is right we let it happen, because we have no choice, we have no voice anymore, Thatcher seen to that back in the day she took away th voices of all working men so they could treat us how they like. no unions no voice.

I remember seeing a figure once like they expect 30,000 construction workers to come in 2004 for the country and in reality I think actually 30,000 went into manchester alone!

Theres nothin GREAT about BRITAIN anymore
 
its supply and demand now though isnt it,
if there willing to plaster all day for £50 to the standard of an english plasterer on £150 aday any construction firm isnt going to look at hiring a uk lad.
as said you have to adapt or do something different.i aint saying its right but its where were at.

i could replace the english lads i have working for me with polish etc and thus increase my profit margins on projects significantly more than what they are,but i wont on principal even tho it is very easy to do now with the help network available from inland revenue etc to employ them,one day i might have to go down that avenue.
your not owed a living in this world you have to make your own.

Flinny mate ime not sure what part of up North you come from though i thought it was Manc land, when i worked there last year the Poles were saying how bad London was with to many Poles, easy for them to say, so lets get one thing sorted when i whent to Spain i took a lot of money with me and put that into the Spanish economy so did loads of Brits and no one ponced of the Spanish goverment cos you cant, unfortunately because of reasons beyond my control it whent wrong so ime back in the U.K. cracking on got loads of work so not moaning about that to be quite honest i feel quite sad for my Spanish mates some who havent worked for a couple of years. thats how bad Spain is. Flinny i suggest you get out a bit more and see what these Eastern europeans are about, mostly gangsters mate no good for this country and as i may have said before my Dad was Ukrainian and i know he would never entertain this generation from his country, cos i understand a bit of the lingo maybe i under stand a bit more than you Flinny mate whats going on so stop talking like a c**t. Lol
 
Your right about them being arrogant etc/

Most I have met dont know what a smile is, and to say they look and act like meat heads is an understatement, I cant stand the f**k**s, and its nothing to do with how they are treated, they dont have the same morals or manners as us brits, same goes for a lot of foreigners, just drive down the ******* road or walk down a high street to see how many people who just barge into you, queue jump or dont say please and thankyou are ******* foreigners.
