Dry or wet as we have had issues with them,Ok mate I just use it for a final wipe over decent though that ox ultraflex is supposed to be ok can't really comment
Just wet the blade what issues ya having?Dry or wet as we have had issues with them,
When u have your 2nd coat on are u using Marshall town all the way through ? And how many wet trowels ? After each trowel are u leaving for 10 mins ?Sometimes tigers and dries funny , i tend to 1st coat ( bag an half ) flatten straight away either blue speedskim , spat or trowel , then mix up again fresh stuff and soon as it’s on clean kit flatten straight away with Marshall or plastic ( Refina ) then another flat then s*p*r*lex , some sets have gone well but others not happy with , not sure if I should give the 1st coat 10 mins after I’ve flattened it then when I’ve got 2nd coat on leave 10 mins before I flatten , been using all these new trowels since they came out but we get issues sometimes with them
dont think your doing it wrong just timing budWe know we are deffo doing something wrong but not figured it out
I’ve tweaked it so many times Myself! Bottom line is crack open the flex trowel 2 hours after mixing up you should be ok ! I know lads will tell you different. We know we are deffo doing something wrong but not figured it out
Yes we have changed it so many times and felt like not using them again due to the finishI’ve tweaked it so many times Myself! Bottom line is crack open the flex trowel 2 hours after mixing up you should be ok ! I know lads will tell you different.
That's right that's when I use it about then like you day got to fcuk about with your timings reallyI’ve tweaked it so many times Myself! Bottom line is crack open the flex trowel 2 hours after mixing up you should be ok ! I know lads will tell you different.
Some lads say use it all the way through , load of rubbish thenYes we have changed it so many times and felt like not using them again due to the finish
Well if they are using it all the way through it will be full of ripples an bumps trust me the metal is only 0.3 so not rigid enoughSome lads say use it all the way through , load of rubbish then
U are right but I’ve got so many silly nela trowels I need to use themIf it's that hard work mate to get right just use your mt start to finish....problem solved
They come and they go..but if you were only allowed one trowel it would have to be an mtBeen using this for 12months now nice trowel but blade taking some breaking in anyone else the same debating to go back on the Mt 13x5 extralite or do I stick with the nela hatevtrowel traumas does me but in
I know I'm gonna switch back to mtThey come and they go..but if you were only allowed one trowel it would have to be an mt
Think a lot of spreads are thinking the same mt all the way , to be fair though we do rate the refina plasticThey come and they go..but if you were only allowed one trowel it would have to be an mt
My Nela Stainless Steel Premium is a strange trowel I've had it for over half a year bent it into a decent permashape worn it in real nice from rendering and a diamond block but it just does not compare to a marshaltown or ox stainless steel, it's too rigid for skim past laying on.
I know Danny but I thought I would be able to use it for laying on skim and flattening it but its hard work lol..The original Nela's were always very stiff...
