WEBER OCR or Sand and Cement for scratch ???

I’ve been Plastering 10 years done a few Weber jobs over new block work, I’ve just won a job Weber pral m over old brick work, want a few opinions on differences between using Weber ocr (with mesh) for scratch opposed to sand and cement (with mesh) might even pop some fibres in, obviously price between the two are crazy but what’s the diffence overall ?

Another quick one ! The brick work is sound flat not badly weathered no cracks ! Mesh ? No mesh ? If so would you spread it on with the rendaid ?
