I have not done a great deal of tyrolene apart from patching up and small areas
I now have a bungalow to do for a customer 120m2.
I have the backing coat all done and the customer is asking if the reveals and plinth can be smothe instead of textured like the main face of the wall.
Can I mix the tyrolene up a bit thicker and lay on and rub up with a plastic float then do the face with the gun?
I am open to suggestions here.
I also have a traditional Tyrol gun and a air hopper type, which do you tyrolene experts prefer??

Tyrolean is I think Silver sand so I would suggest a thin coat on a lightly scratched scratch coat. Should be ok.

Use a tyrolean hand held flicker machine. The air type would probably look more like roughcast.

To maintain an air of professionalism I have referred the plastering enclycopedia, the correct term Is CYMA RECTA and REVERSA

Used the hopper-gun and compressor and will always use in future!
As for the reveals I went for the knock down finish and looks good.
