How many metres are you guys on site covering a day, one your own? Skimming, float and set etc.

Depends on the job m8, if it's schools and hospitals a lot more, if it's flats/houses with loads of cupboards and dog s**t angles not as much,

Depends though all about getting a system that works for you, and making sure you prep at the end of each day ready to mix as soon as on site in the morning, i find if i left early one day or had enough and didn't bother getting myself ready for next day, would **** whole week up....

If i was workin alone skimming- 3 gauges 2@3bags and 1@2bags= 8 bags approx 90 meter workin on new build i would never float without a labourer

Use bout 7 multi or 15 hardwall. Depends on job

An average spread would do about 60-70m2 skim on board a day and about 25-30m2 float and set a day.

Thanks, I've been phoning around trying to get some work on site. Just wanted to know because I've seen a couple of people say its a shock to the system for domestic boys lol

We did actually, me and me mate (heb was faster than me but rougher lol). That was a normal day for us as a 1+1. Couldn't do it now. Fook site work

currently working on a stairwell in aberdeen 1+1. 12 hardwall and 2 multi per day (35m2 approx), stingy boss wont give us pricework

depends mate i know blokes who can do 50m2 and blokes who can do 100m2 jus depends on job and ur own capabilities
