render key on blockwork

starting a job that is render on bad blockwork the builder doesnt want to wire it so was thinking sbr cement slurry and scratch it whilst tacky ? any other ideas please

Whys it bad you should still get a key?

just the shitty blue celcon style ones hate going on them . some of the mortar joints are massive just poor workmanship

what like splaaterdash , leave it to set ,wet it in and top coat ? or scratch on the splaater coat?

I normally, splatter coat the day before, stops rapid drying and create a good key in my opinion..

This wouldn't happen to be a job in Chelmsford we looked at for some I****n/Asian fellas would it @master? Possibly the biggest joints in a blockwall I've ever seen.

Nah it's in woodford green one of the joints is nearly the size of half a block why the f**k he didn't just cut one down is beyond me

Not for an English guy called Dennis by any chance, I looked at an extension that he did last year but we were to busy. Massive joints aswell, said he would give me a shout on next extension ?
