Render and skim

I have done plenty of external rendering, but haven’t done any internal for 20yrs since I was an apprentice, Just built a new build and sick of D&D.

What mix should I use? It’s onto standard breeze block

I was thinking 5:1 with plasticiser, one coat about 12mm

Thank you

When you say "standard breeze block" do you mean aircrete blocks like Durox, Thermalite etc? If so 5:1 is way too strong, even 6:1 is with every sand I've ever used. 7:1 or 8:1 worked well with the sand I used to use for float and set. One of our local sands really wanted to be used at 10:1.

There a dense 4.2n aglite block, not thermalite.

Thank you
