Never used this Rendaid gear before.

Can you use it externally over painted brickwork before
rendering using traditional 2 coat S+C ?

And does it actually work ???

I'm a bit skeptical about these 'wonder' products

like anything mate it's only as good as the paint bond to the bricks........better to make a mechanical key as well by cutting or raking for peace of mind. Once you've used modern products, no just mono i mean prerends and polymer modified basecoats you see where the money goes that's all

Cheers Goody wouldnt mind giving the modern gear a go but the customers
where I live dont like spending any money and want "special price for value" if
you know what I mean. Will have to look into it

buy cheap....buy twice eh

Exactly. I priced up a big semi ages ago (prob 350m/2) and said it would have to be EML'd
but they wanted me to render straight over the paint, told 'em NO. This was years ago
before I'd heard of rendaid etc but drove past recently and seen some spreads
doing it using what looked like an SBR slurry.

Hope it all falls off ;D
