Plastering Copper Pipes in to wall.

I have a plumber coming to chase our the walls and put new copper pipes in for central Heating. Plumber proposes to tape the pipes and fix to the concreate block. My question (no doubt this has been asked before, but here goes).

1. Can this be done successfully without plaster cracking over time i.e. expansion and contraction of pipes?
2. What sort of plaster should be used i.e. bonding plaster and scrim?
3. Use of PVC glue before bonding plaster?

Any help would be appreciated.

Thank you.

Is this a new build or a renovation?
