Sorry, meant who is it you do regular work for? Have you been doing much round sunny southport or travelling further afield?
 
Don't really no many spreads round southport as I served my time in and around manchester mostly, I do a fair bit with, J and K construction, The Kitchen Sink and also The Constuction Quarter. Mates of mine tbh, done a few bit here and there indirectly for, Forshaw as well, always commuted within a 30 mile radius really, never had a decent/long contract in southport it figures right lol.

wigan lad I see well the fella who trained me up many moons ago was Glyn Lawrenson, working for sutty at the time.

Don't know glyn. I know Matty Forshaw. Used to box with him years ago but never done any work for him. Do a bit for Bill Scott round southport. If I could get you in on anything I would but its all small stuff at the moment and there's already two of us. Have you tried driving round locally and dropping in on ongoing jobs? Always worth a try!
 
Yeah there's a few bits going on ATM tbh, 100 odd room travel lodge, which Jk tendered for but lost out. 10+ new builds on fylde road by jones homes, which I've very nearly got in contact with the QS, need to try again this week at some point, plus a Phelan at fitting out the new casino, but I think that nearing completion. Mansell are fitting a new fire station out roofs on so again need to inquire about that as well. If I manage to get my teeth stuck in to anything in the foreseeable future and it will take another spread will be in touch mate. Don't know Bill personally , but as I say my contacts were manchester way, well before I lost them all!!
 
Try ringing Telling Finishers, there from Mansfield and are doing a big job at Leyland 3,000m2 internal render ,grounds on top and bottom to rule offthere no is 01623428181, weve been on there but had to pull off due to cold weather, its just opening up again,but were comitted to another job now for a few weeks its £ 5.00M2 just rule opff and rub up......dsdave

T&S Mawdsleys - Burscough. No fancy website I'm afraid. Had about 20 employed while I was there so not a huge company. Went under with the recession :-(

not good is it mate... I think sutties are still going because they were so big plus there prices haven't changed since the 80s lol, £2.30 m2 skimming even when times were good!

jetman: not from Umston mate no from southport, work all over manchester with them tho, Eden is that the energy/greenhouse thing or am I thinking of something else??

Ahh right I see you a vet at 63 bet you knew his dad when he owned it? Don't know wether Arthur still runs it or if its his son Scott, he was a character sutty one on his own shroud as they come though.
 
Suttys rings abell for some reason? and manchester plasterers from urmston/daveyhulme omg ive put a few of there jobs right, nothing personal pal but not all there lads are bad, some good spreads the majoritey of them. I done some flood work in hull and the polish were hacking off the damps a 1m2 high and drilining with 9.5 board straight on to the damp walls.

always used 9.5 on stud work where fireline or 12.5 wasn't specified haha

As i said in my post i did A BIT for them. That was a bit too much. Roy Jackson did the plastering on the Eden shopping centre the Eric Wright site

did you do the acyrilic panels on the aldi jetman I live 10 seconds from Urmston town centre the houses that are painted the rd near the car park was it for sutcliffes
