any1 use that knauf coving from wickes... how does it compare to the british gypsum coving

also thinking about using bond-it.... how does the girt compare, to that of wba. cheers

We use bond-it all the time not alot in it in comparison just a bit more in the tub as for the coving never used it well i might have done but its all pretty much the same aint it?

Last time i used it was from build center,
was ok apart from 2 lines running the length
of each piece of coving on the face,
it was from the piece on top of each one
must have been dropped or shrink wrapped to tight.
They changed them but still had to sort through the packs.
I prefer gyproc cove & cornice.

the grit is much finer in wba and is much easier to skim over so in my opinion its better. the only problem is they only sell it in small wanky tubs.
rich

Bond-it is quite gritty but never used wba they don't stock it by me.
I only use it if the job really needs it.
Or i'll put a few handfuls of sand in the pva.
I prefer pva when skimming artex & on reskims.
It's cheaper & quicker & it don't knacker your dust sheets or tarps up.
Once Bond it's on your dust sheets there no good for puttin on laminate floor
I just wrap pva roller in carrier bag & it's ready for the next job, no need for washing out every day.
Bond-it is a good product but i wouldn't use it on every job.
