Hi, newly plastered ceiling but a stains been left….

I’m a decorator and have been asked to paint this newly plastered ceiling but it looks like it’s got a water stain?
There was a leak that was fixed and the ceilings had new plasterboard and been plastered….apparently!?
Just wondering if this is something normal or do you guys think there’s still a leak?
Any help would be greatly appreciated as I don’t want to stsin block and paint and there’s still issues at the heart of it?

That's not a stain, that's water damage, so you can safely assume that the leak hasn't been fixed.

That's a leak alright ! I would say that the plasterboard has lost its integrity and needs to be replaced. Dont worry about decorating just pack your tools and clear off.
