From Kent and sons based in Bury St Edmunds, suffolk
Been doing this 32 years
Have done everything from ornate (see Jacobean ceilings in Edinburgh castle in 1997/8)
Pargetting (geometric patterns plants and creatures in render)
And also come up with new techniques and materials such as
Fake doors / wood, creating indented patterns in render using a silicone stamp
Modelling /sculpting plaster friezes using an overhead projector and other crazy ideas
(Some successful some not so much!
I am playing with Sbr , cement and pigments at the moment as an alternative to water resistant plaster like microcement
And have even come up with a magnetic knife holding faux stone in my kitchen
Hoping it can be used in wet areas like showers etc
Any way looking forward to sharing ideas with you guys
