Help please. Damp on chimney breast wall upstairs.

Can anyone tell me if the damp spots on the chimney wall would be related to the chimney mortar failing ? Recently had new lead valley put in (2 years ago)
Wanted my wardrobe skimming but noticed these damp patches ( confirmed with moisture meter)

It could be several things. Mortar, flange, bit of lead-mate needed. Best get a roofer. Recommended one.
