hair line fractures

I have noticed that the recent rendering jobs I have done using cpi euromix have the odd hairline fracure here and there.

It is not blown at all and was only put on to a fully cured scratch coat at 10-15mm

Any ideas ?

was the top coat thicker than the scratch ?

no mate the scratch was pretty thick as over old stone

Is it a bit of shrinkage or slight movement of the building.

man that cpi's got some large sharp aggregate in it. Bout the limit of machine pumping i reckon....propper course it is, not like the finer graded basecoats at more expense...get what you pay for. Sprayed it far too wet this morning in full sun over a fully cured scratch this morning and it slid off the wall after ruling the second pass...yikes. Adjusted water much lower and voila dim problem
