i`ve decided to use this on my place(bungalow) instead of rendering on a gable end above window lintel.looks tidy like.anybody else used this product?it`s a cement based board,a bit like cladding.comes in 22 diffirent colours.

That's the wood effect stuff, isn't it? Several developers down here use it. Looks the bollox. Not cheap though.

Wedi do one, to be honest whats wrong with wood

I used it mate, fitted it to an externally insulated job where we mixed it up with bits of render, looks good when its done.

if it`s wood it will have to be painted every few years.don`t fancy that.

paid 12.50 a length(3.6m).did`nt think that was to bad.only need 20 lengths.

thats about right, I paid around that and had 2 full pallets. it was james hardie - hardieplank i used tho, slightly more expensive but the same.
