Tuesday got all set up and ready to go then realised our old 10m pipe the airline was a Geka not a push fit. so that was a wasted day.
To day got there all excited and set up the Ritmo. Fine so far but we have a bit of a problem with the bags of pral.m.
You see this is a labour only job and the customer got in 28 bags of Bathstone but i measured it up to needing 32. Couldn't get any Bathstone at short notice and the customer was miffed about the delivery charge. So I suggested on one wall of the 4 walls we do the first pass in Cream and mesh then carry on with bathstone. This wall being around a corner as well. So we primed at 300 and sprayed at 250 a bit on the wet side but ok. Anyway the idea was to nearly get empty on the cream and then introduce the Bathstone which we did.
My sprayer then said as the Bathstone was coming out that it was getting wetter? Turned down the water to 200 and still wet so then 150 and it spluttered and struggled then blocked. So sod it we gave up, scratched it and went home pretty well Peed off.
Got in touch with Les and the first thing he said was what make, what colour. Well pral.m but two tone-ish as mentioned above.
The Cream and Bathstone apparently would be 2 different water settings and what with me letting the hopper go nearly empty (but not empty) and interfering with the water I had bridged it.
So theres a lesson learned. No intermixing and once it is running leave well alone.
I have checked the r&s and it is 9 bar.
Will have another go tomorrow if the weather allows. Always the same, just mastered the mono jet and now got to get used to this Ritmo.
