Bad skim

Seen a few posts saying some finish is poor quality ., old finish was loads better . If this is case why or what are gypsum doing bout it does anyone know

Iv had quite a bit of board finish flash set on me lately. I'm putting last week down to the weather though, did a bedroom with no loft hatch fitted and it was a constant warm draft down from the opening, a couple of lead lamps kicking out heat then 25ish degrees anyway. The finish was going off within half an hour. Some times it just shows you how late you can leave it to second coat though.
