got 2 garden walls to render old render has all blown so will take it all off one of the walls and re do in 2 coats.
the other wall has only half blown and the other half is pritty much solid is it possible to remove blown render off this wall and patch up to old and then do one top coat...

The sand and lime mix left on the wall on the left ia about 1.5inc thick and stuck solid! Top of the window is wooden. Just not too sure how to tackle this and what's best for me and the customer. Thanks
can u dot and dab and skim a external wall but inside the house. its in the kitchin on the ground floor. there is no damp at all . its a old house just very old horse hair plaster fell off wen the old kitchen was ripped out. or will it have to be bonded and skimmed?

how do you do it? i have done it by scoring every 2 inc then snapping the board to get around a curved ceilling. i heard a mate of mine say he dampend the paper on the board and leand it agains a wall over night but what if the board is 2-3 feet and would not have enough weight in it to bent...

internal brick walls and walls with windows in them, ~12.5mm boards with a inc or 2 gap at the bottom with pva,d walls and dry wall adisive , that sound ok? or do the walls qith windows in them (outside walls) need sand cement or moistue boards?

do i overboard and use bonding to create the curve or is there anotherway an how do i get perfect rounded curves that match ?

when boarding out a room i scrim all the joints together on the walls and celling but do you guys scrim the part were the wall touches the celling around the top af the wall?
celling 9ft by 7tf with a bit of bondong on it 1ft sq where they had a hole fixed, 3 walls 9ft wal, 7ft wall, 7ft wall, all skim walls bout 7ft high,. not including mats as customer is etting everything, i,e multi,pva,beads for 1 window .

builder wants me to chip old plaster away after hes getting a damp course done, any oinfo for me , i thaught the person doin the damp course took it all back to the brick ? to do it , i got the impression hes allready done the course and the old plaster is still on the wall,????
what do you guys suggest if you had a big job on i,e 2-3 weeks work , i uaually finish my jobs in 2 days and get paid after each job but if the job took 3 weeks how would you go about getin paid would you arrange it to be split in to 3 and get paid every week or what , or would you wait 3 weeks...
when boarding a celling............ i know that the boards have to be staggerd but why is it to stop any cracks spreading right along the join or?. also what thickness of boards do you use on cellings and why compaire to wall. cheers lads
