After looking into getting a machine for lime rendering for a while, I have just bought a mtec p100. Which I believe to be the older version of the p50.
Just had a go of it last week an very impressed seeing as its an old machine!

Where are you based? it would be good to see how well it would cope with a sand and cement mix! lime is much more rich, its a 2.5 : 1 gauge not sure if that would be better or not?

The issue I have now is that im getting a lot of churches / listed buildings at the moment and we make our own mixes specifically to what was originally used, ie we need to choose a local aggregate type and type of lime!

I'm new to the forum but have been plastering for a good few years now,
I mainly do lime work,
Internal float and set, lath work, external render and pointing. Do also do a few screds from time to time.
Most of my work is private customers but do a few contract jobs here and there

I do on average about 1500 Sqm a year so and this amounts to over 100 tons of wet plaster, so I could do with something quite hefty bit not with the price tag...
