Thanks for that! Do you think it’s ok to just leave it bare? Don’t want to do anything unless it’s necessary as the garage is for storage rather than a living space.

If it’s multi finish or finish-plaster did it contain asbestos during the mid 1980’s? According to online information about asbestos, it was also added to plaster in the 1980’s Worth getting it tested for asbestos? Is it ok just to leave it bare? Not sure what to do really or just sell up &...

If it’s not artex, should I just leave it alone? Does it need sealing or painting over? Any idea what type of texture finish it is, shown in the photos? Any other make of texture finish had asbestos apart from artex at the time? Thanks

I’ve recently moved into a house built around the mid1980’s I have noticed the garage ceiling has a bare, unfinished, unpainted swirl texture pattern in a light brown, sandy colour? Not sure if it’s artex or plaster? If it’s artex does it need testing for asbestos due to the age of the house...
