Hi I've got a whole house to price up re plaster. The external walls are double skin(9 inch) but no cavity. Am I right in thinking using gypsum backing coats wouldn't be the right stuff to use for chasers and bringing skirting lower ??? As could cause damp problems. Or would it be ok as its not...
I do 2-3 bags a set if I'm site bashing any thing less then that I wouldn't even make a **** day rate! If I do my own work be lucky if I do this all day and for double money of what I'd get on site!
I know a gang of 2 skimmers and a labourer who do a house a day!!!! They do more then 100m2 a day each!! They think they are the best on the firm!! I'm like good luck with that lads as I can't wait to see how you do in another 5 years!!!! The firms love m2 bashers! This is why I hate site work...
Looked at a float and set job today onto red brick. The customer has brought all the hardwall etc I have no problem doing the job but the customer has gone made with pva neat over the whole lot?! Told him it didn't need it. Will this cause a problem with the hardwall?
