Why you chosen this if you don't mind me asking :)

Think there's a gap in the market where I live , a few friends who are local builders have been telling me that this is a good direction to go as I fancy a career change Can you offer me any advice please?

Liquid screeding is being picked up a lot again by renderers... seems to go hand in hand... from what i have seen on here :D

This is something that I would be very interested in as I give alot of screed work away. Could I possibly take advantage of this?

I wonder if it would ever be practical or even cost effective to use liquid screeds on smaller areas. Normally it's all larger areas. Can you buy pre bagged screeds to go through a pump?

Liquid screeds on smaller areas can be done, but you get hit with minimum load charges so it works out too expensive

We sell bagged screeds that can go through machines for the smaller areas

Anything over 40m2 you can match traditional screed over 40m2 you can get a tad cheaper due to labour costs

we used to do a lot of gyvlon screeds, but the arse fell out of it around 5 -7 years ago, rates are now 30% less than what we were charging for it.
I had 2 diesel pumps on with it for a while, and I hit it right just as the under floor heating fad was booming, but sites I work on now mostly just use big boys that smash out 10,000s of metres a year, as they can under cut most.

I'm doing my research at the moment but once I decide I may take you up on that. Do you have any second hand liquid screed pumps you can send me details of in meantime or recommend anyone who sells them? Many thanks
