    Don't use a cement grout on the concrete ,that idea died out about 40 years ago. The grout dries out quicker then the screed leaving the screed hollow. Just wet the concrete the lay the screed. 3 parts sand 1 part cement.

    Parinter is designed to produce a key . It is an expensive material, I just use it for a scratch coat to receive O C R float finish. For a Tyrolean finish I just mix sand and cement , very wet , and give it a very light spray to receive decoration.
