Skimmed over bare plaster skim ceiling this week. Couple of thin coats of sbr and thin coat of pva. Like skimming plaster board.

Well if you’ve spotted there’s no bog brush, just fold and put a bit of loo roll in the pan first. Helps keep it clean :coffe:

You’re only going to be able to work to the flatness of the existing wall. A speedskim is not really the same as a feather edge when you’re going for flatness with a backing coat
