2 & 1 gang turned up on Friday to make a start on skimming the first floor (7 rooms plus landing and corridor). Lee had done a bang up prep job, boarding, bonding, beading, taping etc.

All going well, some ceilings on, a few walls done, get to mid-day and the main lad said "Do you mind if we knock off now and pick it up Monday?" I told him it didn't matter to me as they're on a price as long as it's all done by Wednesday.

"Thanks. That won't be a problem for Wednesday. My mate rang and we've got a free round of Golf at the Belfry if we can get there by 14:00."

I just started laughing and told him I'd be a bit p1ssed off if they were bailing to do Mrs Jones' bathroom ceiling, but as it was something important it was fine.

Lee had a day off, the customer had gone on holiday that morning, so by 13:00 I'm there alone pondering my life choices. At which point I locked up and went home, 'If you can't be 'em join 'em'. :descansando:

Im not surprised they jibbed you for the belfry wouldnt mind playing there.
Enjoy the sunshine anyway
