Fair enough, I see , like j green says there on that post though at least give chance to discuss the situation, funny see Parex chipping in there to say this that and the other , they should keep there mouths shut , gloating and sticking there 2 pence worth in , I remember seeing there products coming out all different shades of a colour a few times and they offered the guy the same , paint and labour I think , we all have seen Weber ocr hairline crack
where did you see that with Parex?

My point was more the dealing with the plasterer part as if its his fault...
I expect there to be the odd bad bag.
If @Bauwer are supplying paint and will pay for it to be painted tben fair enough.
May have even been little pigment from the machine used you never no be interesting to find out.
Maybe i was quick to dismiss but as long as its dealt with fairly

where did you see that with Parex?
On that same fb page mate , about a month ago I remember reading it , it was 3 different shades of blue if I remember rightly and the skinny parex guy on there only jumped in to say he would send someone to look after it was posted up on there, if I remember right everyone was ranting and raving how great it was that they sorted the plasterer, if the vimark guy was unable to respond like the rest of companies then that doesn’t seem right to me , and especially for the parex guy to start saying what was wrong is ridiculous

We made a video of every single wall and it is the only area of discoloration. We applied some water to make the discoloration area more noticeable, it was still hard seeing it.

We supplied equalizing paint and we are offering our help to resolve the matter.

Thanks Alex. I will use monochrome for the next mono job. But am more interested in the ocr u have as u know.

We are trying to resolve the matter and ask other applicators that unless they've had problems with our product ie failure to serve purpose, then please don't dismiss the product.

You could see the photo and a video of the only discoloration area which you could hardly see from a meter distance.

We launched an investigation on Mono, off white 02 colour, and provided a sample of contamination to the factory.

In the meanwhile we supplied equalizing paint to a customer and we are offering our help to repair that issue.

Hi Alexander and all ,
it’s my job and it’s not been dealt with in an appropriate manner, retification costs need to be covered as it is a manufacturing fault. I’ve not been paid for the job and will not be until it is rectified I am substantially out of pocket. The customer is very unhappy as every time it rains the pink stands out, I will upload a photo of this, also even if sealed it will still have water penetration. We are nearly 3 weeks on now and they were notified on the day it happened, it took 2 weeks to get them on site, where they argued with me & my customer. They are still disputing the scaffolding charges for tenting the whole house and heating for painting, labour costs & masking costs. When a satisfactory outcome is reached I will post it on here. If you have any questions for me please ask, I’m not here to cause trouble, just stating facts, as it is my job that is being commented on.
Kind regards, Alec

It's a storm in a tea cup to me,
It's a tiny area, sounds like a pigment issue at manufacturing stage, with a rogue bag or 2, image how many tens of thousands of bags they shift and this is the only case that's been heard, Or is there more that would be different.
to slate and Condem a product for an isolated (if it is that) case is just daft.
it's up to the rep to reassure the applicators that it is just that, people can hold court on face book and the like but it's nonsense.

There is a lot of of bags that had it i not one ??.
And I am not the only one
And it’s on the front of a customers house the worst bit there is pink tint in the customers walls that can be seen it bright sunlight what on the day Alexander turned up is was not a bright sunny day it’s was cloudy.

Could the one elevation not just be painted Alec ?

No not really as the painted elevation will look different to the unpainted one especially when it gets
Wet the customer should be left with a matching job on all faces , he also would like the beads masking off
To stay white which is a ball ache but it’s only fair

I feel for you mate, not a good one this is. I'm sure the customer wanted mono not a painted mono

Yep no one likes negative publicity as it shakes confidence.

Right, we were all speculating then without knowing the facts.hope you reach a satisfactory conclusion then.

Well with all honesty if that happens to me I'll be fuming! The representative will have nightmares till is sorted, honestly! Saying all that, I have dealt with Alex and I wonder if we are talking about the same person and if that's true what the op says @Bauwer should have been there within 2-3 days on the job. In my book waiting for weeks it's not acceptable at all! I think Alex is exceeding the customer support expectations by offering help before the problem is discovered, it can be anything from picking something with the end of the hose to pure negligence, anything really. As for painting that section or elevation that's no no. Applying paint over mono changes the colour , texture and appearance, which means the whole house has to be painted. Not so difficult, but there always will be this memory to remind the customer. That's the s**t part of it. Will that put me off using monochrome again........not really. I found it safer than parex do to the grain range which is more or less in the same spectrum , where parex even with gf range is not that fine and has some larger grains to mess around with. I personally will stick to parex in the winter. The higher lime content helps , but in the summer vimark will be a winner.
Almost forgot........Alex wtf is going on mate? Get your s**t together :D

Talking of Parex I spoke to the rep about a roll of there TV10 mesh that was falling apart. 3 times he promised to pick the roll up and that was 4 months ago. Skipped it in the end and ain't bought another roll since. Wouldn't be so bad but its one if the most expensive on the market. Just another rep that's full of shite

Not at all. I got caught in December with overnight temps and it looks just like that.
I'm not saying this is the same cause just educating the forum of the similarities

What a load of rubbish look it’s in the material when’s it’s not freezing mate do you really know your stuff??? As it never did freeze in the application time . And this causes pink and orange
Does it !!. Mate go on the plasters machine group on fb and read what causes it nick cheek has put the description on the calcium levels and the orange is ores in the sand

Clearly you can't read. I never said this is the cause of YOUR issue. I was highlighting the similarities to another render issue. I'm not on FB so can't read what's said. Maybe try reading posts fully before spitting your dummy out. I get your frustrated but I wouldn't question if you knew your stuff or not so keep your knickers on spunky pants :cachetada:

do you know how to use paypal ??
because ive no idea.
your 7k will be covered in 3 weeks.

Teething problems are expected but you need confidence that a company will 100% have your back when it goes wrong on their end. If true about arguing with you in front of the client then that's f**k**g shocking. They should be bending over backwards to sort it to keep people using it with confidence.

Parex tv10 mesh is rubbish, since around the middle of last year.
it frays when you cut it, they must have changed supplier. Sounds trivial but when you pushing it into your first pass and bits start to come through, there's nothing more annoying.
