papered my breast wall when i bought the house but just fitted a fireplace so i removed the paper only to find all of the emulsion has peeled of in huge sheets. Yes the skim is too smooootth. now i have one wall in bare plaster making re-papering more work.
complaint to the builder about the spreads finishing the walls incorrectly is on the cards.....
